The only way to fully eliminate panic and anxiety attacks from your life is to rid yourself of the thoughts of having another one

I’d say that is indeed a vary important part of it: getting some kind of control of your thoughts. Check out the article on panic thoughts, or better, the Panic Away programme I mention deals totally with those thoughts.
